In Guthrie we breed and train competitive AQHA race horses. We specialize in breeding with a fabulous barn of winning broodmares and our stallions that include CORONADO CARTEL, BIG LEW. HEZ OUR SECRET, AMERICAN ANTHEM, BUCKS HANCOCK DUDE & SHOW ME THE BUCKLES & JESS FIRE ME

Cody Noel leads our racing program and during the season you can cheer on Reliance Ranches horses in New Mexico and Oklahoma where our family actively supports the advancement and preservation of racing.

At the Llano ranch we focus on providing our horses with second careers after racing by training roping and barrel horses. Bobby Mote, four-time PRCA Bareback Riding World Champion, and his wife Kate do an amazing job of refocusing our horses’ athletic abilities into a career they will love and excel at for years to come. 

 

You wont find a racetrack at the Llano ranch, but you will find an arena where we frequently practice our second love (behind racing)… team roping!
